Broad, balanced British curriculum fostering curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking

At GEMS Royal Dubai School, we offer a curriculum designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking, preparing students for lifelong learning.

Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and is delivered by experienced, British-trained educators who focus on both academic success and holistic development. From Early Years to Secondary, we offer a wide range of subjects designed to engage students, challenge their thinking, and develop them as well-rounded individuals.

The foundation of our curriculum begins with the Early Years Foundation Stage, where children are nurtured in a play-based environment that encourages curiosity and emotional well-being. This stage is focused on developing the whole child, from communication skills to physical development. We integrate Arabic as part of the learning experience to immerse children in the language and culture, setting a strong foundation for future academic success.

In Primary, we provide a rich and engaging learning environment with ore subjects such as English, Mathematics, and Science are taught in innovative ways to spark curiosity and instill a love of learning. The wider curriculum encompasses History, Geography, Performing Arts, Music, French, and more, helping students explore new ideas and gain a broader perspective of the world.

Our Secondary curriculum prepares students for GCSE, BTEC, and A Level pathways. We focus on critical thinking, independent study, and the development of leadership skills. Students in Secondary have opportunities for both academic and vocational study, with a strong emphasis on preparing them for university and the workplace. Our industry partnerships provide real-world learning experiences that support students in their future endeavors.

Arabic and Islamic education is an integral part of the curriculum at all stages. Students from Year 1 onwards engage in learning the Arabic language, whether as native or non-native speakers. Islamic Education is also a key focus, helping students connect with the values of Islam in real-world contexts. Through Quran memorization and Islamic studies, students develop strong moral character and respect for their cultural heritage.

At GEMS Royal Dubai School, we are committed to nurturing every child's potential and ensuring that their educational journey is engaging, supportive, and enriching. Our curriculum is designed to help students thrive both academically and personally, preparing them for success in a global society.
