Rachel Williams

Rachel was appointed as Deputy Principal, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, at GEMS Royal Dubai School in August 2023.

Originally from England, Rachel has been teaching since 2012 and teaching internationally since 2018. She previously worked in a prestigious British international school in Warsaw, Poland where she held various leadership positions, including Assistant Head Teacher and Core Curriculum Lead, and completed a year-long Senior Leadership Programme. In the UK, she also held leadership positions including Maths Lead, Reading Lead and Data and Assessment Lead. Rachel has taught every year group from Year 1 to Year 6 with experience teaching and leading phonics in Early Years.

Passionate about providing the very best education for all children, she believes that a high-performance culture comes from having high expectations for all students and supporting them to achieve their potential.
